Entrance Exam for Recruitment of Tr. GS 2023 Examination syllabus:

The examination will be of the online format of duration 3 hours (180 minutes).

The examination will be of the objective type comprising of 200 questions. A total of 125 questions will test knowledge and 75 questions that test aptitude.

Each question answered correctly is awarded 1 mark and every question answered incorrectly is awarded 0.25 negative mark. Un-attempted questions are not marked (no plus or minus marks).

  • Food Production
  • Food & Beverage Service
  • House Keeping
  • Food safety
  • Hygiene.

Section B,C,D – Aptitude – 75 questions

  • Basic numerical reasoning
  • Basic logical reasoning
  • Pattern Recognition

Trainee General Steward Exam Syllabus Question Pattern :

Total Question :-200
Duration of Test :-180 minutes

Section A – Knowledge

  • 125 MCQ questions

B Section – Aptitude Basic numerical reasoning

  • 25 MCQ questions

    Section C – Logical reasoning

  • 25 MCQ questions

Section D – Pattern recognition. 

  • 25 MCQ questions

After Clearing this test you have to go through a Psychometric test and interview. If you will pass interview then you have to pass Psychometry test. After clearing these 2 test you have to pass medical test.

Once you will clear all these test then your job will be fix.

Your first rank will be Trainne GS (Salary 500$).

After that you will be promoted to GS (General Steward). & Salary will be 1200$ .

Then once you will get Cook License from DG SHIPPING then you can become a Chief cook on Ship (salary 1500$ per month).
